I'm back!
After a very long absence, I'm back with a new site! Thanks to the lovely and talented Molly Phipps, my new website looks better than ever. She's the same evil genius who designed my book covers, so I knew I was in good hands.
I can't believe 2018 is almost over! I'm happy to report that I'm finally writing again. Many of you may be unaware, but I'm a freelance editor, so much of my free time is devoted to helping other writers have a perfect book. But lately, I've gotten into a rhythm, and I'm about halfway through with, "The Other War," which is the final book in the "Inheritance" trilogy.
Here's a little snippet from "The Other War":
Reggie smoothed the black trousers over her hips. The clingy material molded over her thighs and butt, showing off her hard-earned muscles. Next came the tunic, raw black silk shot with silver thread. She buckled the wide leather belt that had been provided for her, the lambskin leather butter soft, the same softness echoed in the black boots she laced up her calves. Narrowing her eyes at the image in the mirror, she caught how the silver threads weren’t the random pattern they’d first appeared to be—though with Andrius’s airship pulling into Two Cities, her attire had been the last thing on her mind.
Now, she saw the silver thread for what it really was. A raven stretched across her chest. These weren't normal, albeit expensive, clothes. They were a damn uniform. Sure, the raven was silver, but the meaning was the same. Andrius was claiming ownership over her. He’d vanquished his enemy, brought her to heel like a hound. She fisted her hands in the V of her collar. She started to yank when a knock rapped at the door. Glancing at the mirror again in disgust, she walked to the door and opened it.
I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek! Happy holidays and a very happy and healthy New Year!
